I Like You: Hospitality Under The Influence - Amy Sedaris

I bought a copy of this book called I Like You: Hospitality Under The Influence by Amy Sedaris from a book sale. For a hardbound book, I got a good deal. Basically this book is about planning and throwing parties in your own place. I've never read a book by Amy Sedaris before so I didn't expect she'd be quirky in this book. It's a visually refreshing and educational read especially since I don't throw parties a lot.

While reading this book, I actually dreamt of being on my own, having the house all by myself and cooking for myself (FREEDOM!!!). I once told my dad that I actually like to cook if only I'd be the one eating the food I make. But he disagrees that I'd be able to enjoy the food alone. Sorry but not everyone eats my food at home whenever I cook, not because my food does not taste good but because my peeps are picky eaters (I hate you all). So it would be a change for me to prepare and design the food I make only for myself. I could even control the leftovers. Moving on, here's a preview of the book:
